Unlocking markets

Entering the Brazilian market is often challenging and sometimes even frustrating. The language is difficult to access, and the bureaucracy... let's say, is different. But likewise, for Brazilian companies, the EU market is truly diverse, hard to understand and sometimes over-regulated.

However, Accompanied knows its way around excellently, and we have the necessary contacts. We can represent your company in Brazil or Europe through Accompanied Brasil Ltda or Accompanied BV and take care of marketing, sales, and after-sales on your behalf.

Business Opportunities

Brazil and Portugal are relatively unfamiliar countries for the Dutch. Language is a problem, and the culture is unfamiliar. Dutch farmers are more likely to go to Canada or Denmark than to Brazil or Portugal. And for producers, Southeast Asia is more in focus than Northeast Brazil. This means many opportunities are being missed. By European companies as by Brazilian ones.

Dutch farmers are among the best in the world, and Brazil welcomes them with open arms. There is plenty of space (and no, there's no need to clear the Amazone), a large domestic market of over 210 million people, and excellent access to the international market. Portugal also offers wonderful opportunities for Dutch farmers. The current agriculture there is still small-scale, and many agricultural products need to be imported. This is despite Portugal having excellent agricultural land, a favourable climate, and sufficient water.

But not only farmers offer opportunities in the two countries. If you want to expand or relocate your production, Northeast Brazil is particularly interesting. Wages are reasonable, there is ample space, the government is cooperative, and the workforce is Western and well-educated. Additionally, the port of Pecém (managed by the Rotterdam Port Authority) is excellently located. It's about a 10-day voyage to Rotterdam or New York. Across just the Atlantic Ocean, without canals or piracy.

Accompanied knows the way in Brazil and Portugal and knows the possibilities and opportunities. Most serious providers prefer not to have their company on a website, but we know them. And if we don't know them, we can find them. Make an appointment to discuss your opportunities in Brazil or Portugal without obligation.

Private Opportunities

Private individuals have a growing interest in acquiring property or embarking on real estate ventures. This inclination is understandable, as owning a property in a warm climate is often perceived as a significant asset. We are happy to look for a hotel, finca, beach house, or villa. We already have a few ideas for you...

Workshops

Accompanied has been around for almost 10 years, and we are more than happy to share our experiences and insights. We organize workshops for people considering emigrating, but also for people who have emigrated to the Netherlands. We have a lot of experience with Brazilian migrants in that country through the “Company of Friends” foundation. This foundation is committed to irregular Brazilian labour migrants, and we know their expectations, opportunities, and problems. We are happy to share this knowledge with NGOs, governments, and politicians. We understand the sensitivities involved and can provide in-house workshops on this topic.
